The Lesser Caucasus, which is not so small with peaks over 3000 meters, consists of countless long-extinct volcanic cones that form extensive plateaus. The whole region is one of the most diverse in Georgia. Different ethnic groups have settled here, each bringing their own culture and architecture: Armenians, Turks, Russians, Greeks, and some villages were even founded by Germans.
Perfectly suited for our self-drive trips in the off-road camper are the many mountain passes and beautiful viewpoints. We are particularly excited about meeting new local families and extending our network of English-speaking hosts. Our guests can soon also experience the traditional hospitality that has been authentically preserved off the tourist hotspots and visit our friends.
If you want to get to know the Lesser Caucasus and its warm-hearted locals, you are very welcome to do so in September. There are still 1-2 cars available, and the weather is ideal for travelling! (current booking status as always here on our website)
Warm regards,
Andreas and Svetlana

Relicts from ancient times
The area we are reporting on here was actually settled much earlier. Several fortresses, built from volcanic rock 3000–4000 years ago, bear witness to this. A section of the Silk Road also passed through this region, connecting Europe with the Orient
