Highlights in Georgia

High Caucasus

For millennia, this gigantic mountain range has served as the natural border between Europe and Asia.

With our off-road campers, you’ll spend the night in the most beautiful places, waking up to a magnificent view of snow-covered peaks for breakfast.

We are most happy to provide you tips for beautiful hikes to get even closer to the mountains.

Hospitality and kitchen

Travellers have always been warmly welcomed in the Caucasus, and Georgia is famous for its rich and delicious cuisine. There’s even a specific word in the Georgian language that describes “continuing to eat because it tastes so good, even though you’re already full“.

We have a network of German and English-speaking friends who are happy to welcome you as a guest in remote villages and introduce you to the local cuisine and culture.

The Lesser Caucasus

In the southern part of Georgia, many mountains, ridges, and entire mountain ranges were formed tens of thousands of years ago due to volcanic activity.

The wide plateaus in this region are criss-crossed by countless off-road trails, that’s the terrain where our UAZ campers feel right at home.

African steppe

In the far east, Georgia reveals a side that is more reminiscent of African savannas. On extensive plains, you can observe gazelles grazing, and numerous turtles, birds, and other animals call this area home.

There are also mud volcanoes in some places where petroleum naturally emerges to the surface as well as an an abandoned Soviet military airfield for enthusiasts of “Lost Places.”

This is undoubtedly a very adventurous corner that is just waiting to be explored with our 4×4 campers.

Historic places

In Georgia, you can find hundreds of impressive castles, churches, and many historical relics from pre-Christian times scattered throughout the country.

Wonderful camp sites

In the Caucasus, you can set up your camp almost anywhere, and we’d be happy to recommend some of the most beautiful spots along your route.
