All the best, health and good luck with all your plans for you and your loved ones in the new year!
Winter has now arrived in Dagestan, and we want to review a little bit the last year.
In the beginning, travel restrictions were still making a visit difficult. Fortunately, the second half of the year turned out great once Russia finally opened up to tourists again. We were delighted to show our beautiful Dagestan to over 40 international visitors.
We are already looking forward to our guests and many exciting trips and encounters between the Caspian Sea and the Caucasus Mountains for the coming year.
Some info you might already know from the previous newsletter:
After two years without any changes, we plan to increase the prices of our adventure tours by around 10% on Jan. 9th 2022.
Of course, nothing will change for guests who have booked already, we are looking forward to your visit!
All the best and greetings from Dagestan,
Andreas and Svetlana

Photo competition "The most beautiful country"
Andrey Smolnikov was stationed as a soldier in Dagestan over 20 years ago. Now he has returned as a photographer to record the people of the Botlikh border region and has promptly won a renowned photo competition.
Here are his award-winning pictures.
Travel restrictions and visa
We flew back to Russia from Austria a few days ago ourselves – that went very smoothly.
The only recent change is that the PCR test for entry may now only be a maximum of 48 hours old (was previously 72 hours)
Russia is open to tourists from around 60 countries!
