Russian new year was welcomed with a week of holidays and celebrations, seeing old friends and family. We visited Sveta’s parents who live close to the Ural mountains and enjoyed the snow and ice in this part of Russia.

What's going on in Dagestan right now?
It’s great to see the foundation for future tourism in Dagestan being built right in front of our eyes. At the moment, a few small construction projects are ongoing to add guesthouses in the mountainous regions. More great places to choose for accommodation will make your Comfort Tour even better.
Travel Restrictions & Visa
Good news from Moscow: Restaurants and theatres were allowed to open again as a result of dropping Covid numbers. Vaccination is readily available in the capital and from what we hear, everybody who wants to get vaccinated can receive his shot without problems.
In the provinces so far only certain professions and age groups are vaccinated, we will keep you updated once we get a chance to get our doses.
The current list of countries who can travel for tourism to Russia is unchanged:
Belarus, Cuba, Egypt, Maldives, Japan, Kazakstan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Switzerland, Tanzania, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, *United Kingdom
