May brought more visitors from Moscow and finally also guests are arriving again from Europe to explore Dagestan. Perfect spring weather is showing off with wonderful snowy Caucasus panoramas, while the lower regions are covered in rich green grass and carpets of flowers. It was our pleasure to host some amazing guests from the UK, Germany and Switzerland and send them on their tours around Dagestan.
Join our next virtual Dagestan tour and have a look at the most beautiful places yourself:

The overall travel outlook is looking pretty good – Russia just announced to resume flights with another eight countries in the next few days (UK and Austria being on this list) so we are very excited to finally see many of you in person over the next weeks and months.
See you soon in our lovely Dagestan.

Vaccination Tourism in Russia
Not long ago, first guests of ours combined their Dagestan vacation with getting COVID vaccination in Russia. It’s actually quite easy to get vaccinated here at a private clinic and it gets even better: The government plans to officially offer vaccinations for tourists beginning of July. Here more info
Returning guests
The best compliment for our tours are of course guests returning for a second visit. It was great to see Sonja, Daniel and Ole again and send them on another amazing journey around Dagestan (Daniel even celebrated his birthday with us here)
Dagestan Dresscode
It’s straightforward: Please do not wear shorts/short dresses or tops with naked shoulders in the mountains. Showing respect towards the local culture goes a long way and will make your vacation in Dagestan even more enjoyable and memorable. More info here.
A paradise for ornithologists and bird lovers
Petra and Joachim from Switzerland opened our eyes to how much Dagestan has to offer for bird lovers. Travelling the wild Caspian Sea coast and the Caucasus Mountains in our UAZ 4×4 camper was just the perfect vacation for them to enjoy the fantastic variety of birdlife we have here in our backyard.
