With the partial mobilization announced today, a red line for us has been crossed, and we are leaving Russia.
Fortunately, you can still explore the most beautiful regions in the Caucasus on our unique self-drive trips because we are moving just a few hundred kilometres south. Plans for the best routes through Georgia have been in our drawer since March, and just like in Dagestan, we have prepared beautiful spots and interesting contacts with the locals for you. Off the beaten path, you will, as usual, get to know the Caucasus and its people authentically and individually.
Our offer remains the same:
– Individual, perfectly prepared self-drive trips in a UAZ 4×4 camper or the comfort option with accommodations.
– Experience local culture, ancient traditions, craftsmanship, and hospitality personally with local friends.
– Off-road driving in the UAZ is explicitly allowed and encouraged (after our off-road training on the first day).
Quick info for all guests who have already booked trips:
– If you have booked for 2023: You will be automatically rescheduled to the same date and under the same conditions in the South Caucasus.
– If you have postponed your trip from 2022 to 2023: We will contact you next week to confirm the details.

80 years young and by UAZ through the Caucasus
Over a year ago, we had our first contact – I can still remember when Helmut asked me on the phone if I would rent him a UAZ Camper. Of course! We put together every route individually, and it was a pleasure to create a trip that matched his and his partner Valentina’s exact preferences.

You can arrive in Armenia and Georgia with numerous direct flights from Europe.
EU citizens do not require visas for these countries.
The impact of the mobilization in Russia on tourists is still uncertain.
However, an official requirement for entry into Russia is still a 48-hour PCR test.
