FAQs

What makes our offer unique?

We love the Caucasus and its incredibly warm-hearted people. We want to offer you the same fantastic travel experiences and wonderful encounters with the locals as we are having.

Much more than car rental! Our 4×4 campers are of course ideal travel companions, but only our individually tailored route suggestions and the meetings with our local friends truly make your journey an unforgettable experience.

With our vehicles, you are explicitly allowed to leave the roads. To make sure you feel safe and confident taking your car off the roads, every tour starts with off-road driving training.

How to get there? Do I need a visa?

To reach Georgia, you’ll fly to the Georgian capital, Tbilisi.
For most citizens, no visa is required.

For Dagestan, we recommend a flight to the capital Makhachkala via Istanbul.
You probably need a visa, which is available online.

We will pick you up from the airport, and your journey begins right away.

The best time of the year for my visit?
Our Mediterranean climate allows for a great trip all year round.

In February and March, you’ll find snow-covered mountains and ideal weather in the savannah landscapes.

April and May bring nature to life with lush greenery and carpets of flowers.

June, July, and August offer perfect travel and bathing weather with sea temperatures of up to 25°C.

September and October bring a mild autumn with ideal hiking weather.

In November, snow-covered peaks offer wonderful panoramas.

We are closed in December and January.

Can I visit Georgia and Dagestan on the same trip?

Yes

In the summer of 2024, we are offering special Transcaucasus tours where you’ll visit both countries.

The Caucasus

The mighty Caucasus Mountains stretch from the Black Sea to the Caspian Sea, forming the natural boundary between Europe and Asia. The mountain peoples who have inhabited this region for millennia are legendary for their warm welcomes and hospitality.

Diverse regional differences offer you a many unique landscapes and a mix of cultural and culinary treasures.

No matter where you are travelling, our goal is always to present the Caucasus and its lovely people as authentically as we experience ourselves on our journeys.
